How’s your aim? Think you could hit a big red circle from 15 feet away? On April 25, you can prove it, as Dean Bill Hardgrave will be trading in his suit and tie for some swim trunks, and put himself at the mercy of all the Harbert College of Business students.
We think our aim is pretty good, and we want to hit our mark of keeping the Harbert College in the number one spot for student giving on campus. With your donation – and your throwing arm – we can make that happen. Every student who gives to the College will have a chance to get Dean Bill Hardgrave wet, and he has pledged to match every student donation (up to $3,000). If that’s not enough, we’ll have free Kona Ice to hand out to everyone.
Be sure and stop by our info table in Lowder Hall to learn more about student giving. And with our online form, giving for the “Dunk the Dean” event is as easy as one or two throws – er, clicks, that is.
Let’s just hope the dean has been working out, lately – maybe he’s started doing CrossFit – because new head basketball coach Bruce Pearl was doing quite a bit of flexing at his own dunk tank a few weeks back.
Stay tuned and check back here in the days leading up to “The Dunk” on April 25, as we’ll have updates, photos and more using #DunkTheDean – it’s your chance to Dunk Dean Bill Hardgrave!
