The first and second floors of Lowder Hall were filled Thursday by representatives from 36 firms in the supply chain and aviation management industry who were visiting the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business to interview prospective interns and potential future employees.
Industry Weeks are sponsored by the college’s Office of Professional and Career Development.
Firms visiting campus for the expo included Colgate-Palmolive, Southeastern Freight Lines, Old Dominion, Elite Transit, C.L. Services, Hub Group, Target, Home Depot, Saddle Creek, Carter’s, Exel, United Airlines, P&S Transportation, Tennessee Commercial Warehouse, Werner Enterprises, FedEx, Damco Distribution, TIMCO Aerosystems, R+L Truckload Services, ABC Supply Company, Georgia-Pacific, Dollar General, PVH, Hyundai, XPO Logistics, Montgomery Transport, Back Forty Beer, U.S. Foods, 3M, ThyssenKrupp, Southern Company, Save-A-Lot Foods, Waffle House, Master Brand Cabinets, Uline and Plumbers Distribution.
Next week’s industry week lineup features firms from the financial sector. Scheduled to visit include Waddell & Reed, Regions Financial, BBVA Compass, Republic Finance, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
